WRAPT LABELS ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE WE HAVE JOINED THE AVERY DENNISON RECYCLING PROGRAMME!
This is a global recycling movement whereby our customers have the option to turn their Glassine Liner Waste into sustainably recycled tissue paper. You can have your waste (or just label offcuts) collected through us, then recycled through a pulping process. From there, this is used to create new material which can be redistributed around the world.
If you would like more info on how to get involved in this programme, get in touch or download the PDF below!

PUKEKO RESERVE & COMPOST
Since moving into our new premise, we have met some very friendly neighbours. Pukekos are frequently seen roaming the bank around our site and down the road.
Given we have no use for the bank, the Wrapt team are in the process of cleaning this area up so it can be a safe environment for the Pukekos - while creating a compost area to minimise our food waste.
From 2021, we will keep any food scraps from staff and also use our coffee grounds to create a healthy habitat for both the birds and the land.
SOLAR PANELS
Whilst Wellington isn't exactly known for its sunshine, we are targeting by the end of 2021 to have solar panels installed so that when we are blessed with some sunshine rays, it will help power up Wrapt.
We are aware this won't cover the entire amount of power we need to operate, but it is a great starting point and a step in the right direction. Who knows, we might be better to use some windmills! Watch this space...
ZERO WASTE INITIATIVE
We are working alongside one of our suppliers who currently offer a zero waste initiative with commercial printing. We are hoping to also bring this into the Label printing sectors to offer you a zero waste solution when printing your labels.
